Ash Creek Animal Clinic

My sister recommended this clinic however, i will NOT be going here just off the staff alone. I came from out of state and have never experience such rude customer service. The front desk lady cut me off multiple times, treated me like I was a child and had very snarky remarks when I explained my concerns. I told my sister, why on EARTH did you recommend them to me and she apparently knew exactly who I was talking about and said I should just request to speak to someone else because that’s what she does. But that is RIDICULOUS. Either management needs to get a grip on their employees or they just need to be terminated PERIOD. Why would you allow your employees to treat people like this if you want not only new customers but also a good reputation? After looking over these reviews, I’m surprised she’s still employed because even after one review alone, immediately calls for correction. Don’t be in customer service if you don’t know how to behave like a decent human being. Especially working in the field of caring for animals. You want to make sure the owners feel comfortable and like they’re being taken care of, not mocked behind their back. (Yes I did overhear the conversation she had with her coworker when she thought I wasn’t in earshot) SERIOUSLY DO BETTER!!

I took in a rescue cat on July 3,2026 that had been examined by Ash Creek Animal Clinic on July 1st. That examination included a flea treatment. The cats owner had died and I requested an exam before taking the cat in. On August 7th I went to Ash Creek requesting a refill of the flea medicine. They refused stating I had to have the cat re-examined as I was considered a new patient. I’m not the patient, the cat is. I am a senior living on a fixed income and feel strongly that this was unwarranted. It is not even in the spirit of good animal stewardship that I would expect from a vet. I will not be using them that’s for sure.

Overall good clinic, the main receptionist (or at least the one that tends to answer the phone most regularly whenever i’d call) seems to have a bit of a distasteful attitude. It’s odd because it’s mixed with the condescending tone but whenever she can’t help with something, she almost immediately shuts it down without offering other solutions or transferring to another person who may be able to assist which is incredibly frustrating and I can’t help but think this is a reflection of the company, seeing as how she is the first person to greet people calling. Ironically, I’ve talked to others who’ve shared similar experiences. Just thought I’d give my two cents to the staff so maybe some self reflection can take place.

As a whole the vet is good. The staff in front are very disrespectful, condescending and rude. The lady on the phone is extremely rude and shouldn’t be in customer service what so ever. And she’s the only reason why they get a one star review

Cannot say enough good things about this amazing team of people who truly care and are patient, thorough, and kind. Wish I could give 7 stars.
