I’m going to be as objective as possible in this review because I know people can see a negative review and think it’s all emotional. Started using this clinic after moving to the area three months ago, my dog has a collapsing trachea issue and he is an older dog. The initial appointment and a follow up visit with the vet went fine. no concerns. After being prescribed a compounded controlled medication everything went downhill from there. When you call to refill a prescription, they tell you to leave a message and it will take them 24 to 48 hours to process which is completely normal. However, for the last three months after each call I made, they did not follow through to get the prescription to the pharmacy in a timely manner. It took two different calls to the office after the initial call to make sure that the prescription was being sent. In the last three months, they have gone through two different office managers both assuring me in their own way that they would handle the situation and neither one followed through. This last month it took almost 10 days for someone to send a prescription up to the pharmacy, and my dog has lapsed in his medication and is completely and unnecessarily uncomfortable and in pain. The reasons given behind the breakdown in communication does not matter to me. What matters is I worked with them for three different months and had problems all three months getting a medication up to a compounding pharmacy for my dog in a timely manner. I have actually worked in an office of a small clinic before, so I understand the gist of what needs to occur and it is not that hard. Do not go to this veterinary office if you have any special needs for your pets.
