Erika Halle Dvm

I took my 14 year old dachshund to see Erika after dealing with arthritis flare ups. Our traditional vet had her on narcotics, muscle relaxers and steroid injections (that she hated) and she kept having these flare ups. Erika did a chiropractic adjustment on our first visit and put her on herbs and supplements, which she enjoys eating and she has not had a single flare up in the last 3 years. Now at 17, you can tell she is getting old but she still has bursts of puppy energy where she does her slow motion zoomies. We’re so thankful to have found Erika who helped bring back quality of life to this sweet old girl.

Loved that she came to the house and my pet warmed up to her quickly. Very different experience than I've ever had with a vet.

Dr. Halle always answers my emails within 24 hours. She takes my order and processes it very quickly. I appreciate her counsel when i have asked questions about my puppy. She is a wonderful person and veterinarian.

My 9 yr old Service Dog, Dexter, was suffering from stiffness in his neck and would suddenly let out a yelp when you barely touched him. He was especially sensitive around his ears and suddenly it got to the point where he would just be standing there doing nothing and let out a Yelp. When I took him in to his vet they did a complete workup including a biopsy on the swollen glands in his neck and it turned out he was in good shape for, a puppy mill rescue, his age except for the bacterial and yeast infections in both ears. They put him medication for his ears as well as for pain to help with the discomfort the ears and neck seemed to be causing him. The ears cleared up beautifully but his neck still seemed to be stiff the open hadn't quit. This led me to look at alternative approaches and Dr Halle. I love the fact she's 15 minutes from where I live, she does acupuncture and chiropractic work and she can come to us or I can take Dexter to her. I called as a new client and was thrilled they could see us in about two weeks. Dexter's visit was awesome. First, I actually got to go in with him to the room where Dr. Halle works! He was pretty relaxed as we discussed his issues, she determined he needed chiropractic work, and she working on him. When she found the problem spot (right behind the ears on his neck) and made the correction he let out a small yelp. I could see right away in his eyes that he was relaxing. She checked the spot again and got no response. When she released him he just melted down to the floor. It was surprisingly obvious that he felt so much better than when he'd come in. In addition to his physical treatment she also gave him some herbal pills that would help with the pain. It is so great to see him feeling like his younger self and knowing that he doesn't have to be on pain meds anymore that could possibly damage his liver with long term use. I would say Dr. Halle is an excellent choice for anyone looking for chiropractic assistance or a holistic medicine approach for their pet. All 93 lbs of Dexter, my German Shepherd/Standard Poodle rescue, would agree!
