I've had both of my dogs in here at least once. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful with low income situations! I found them thru their rabies clinic, and now I've got a permanent vet for my pups! Thank you FTLOP!!!!!
I hate leaving negative reviews because this clinic used to be wonderful, but unfortunately the level of care and communication has declined significantly over the last few months.
My puppy was spayed in June, and at the same time had surgery on her nares. At drop-off, no one discussed post-operative medications such as trazodone with me. They simply took my puppy to the back and said they would call me later. When I picked her up and asked about trazodone, I was told they couldn't fill it that day but that I could call if I needed it.
By Friday, I was really struggling to keep a newly spayed puppy calm while also caring for a very energetic new puppy. I called and spoke with Jessica, who told me I could come pick up trazodone that afternoon. When I arrived, however, I was told at the front desk that medication requests require 72 hours to process and that I wouldn't receive it until Tuesday (they said they would "try" for Monday). Because of that delay, my puppy went the entire weekend without the medication she needed to stay calm after surgery.
Unfortunately, my puppy ended up popping a stitch. I took her to another veterinary clinic, where she was seen the same day and immediately received both trazodone and antibiotics.
After that experience, I decided to transfer both of my puppies' care. I called to cancel my new puppy's July 1 appointment and requested a refund of my $75 deposit. Like many of my recent attempts to contact the clinic, no one answered the phone, so I left a voicemail. The next day I still received an appointment reminder, so I called again and also sent an email requesting cancellation. Despite providing plenty of notice, my $75 deposit was never refunded.
I also cancelled my spayed puppy's follow-up appointment and requested that her records be transferred to our new veterinarian. I left multiple voicemails, sent several emails, and even responded to the text message I received after they marked us as a "no-show" for an appointment I had already cancelled. Despite all of these attempts, **my puppy's records still have not been transferred.**
To make matters worse, my pet insurance claim was denied because the insurance company has been requesting medical records from this clinic since June and has still not received them. The lack of communication and follow-through has now directly affected my ability to receive reimbursement through my pet insurance.
I'm not sure if there has been a change in management or staffing, but this clinic no longer provides the level of communication, responsiveness, or patient care that it once did. I genuinely used to recommend this practice to friends and family, which makes writing this review even more disappointing. Unfortunately, based on my recent experiences, I can no longer recommend them.
I would like to thank you for your outstanding dedication to the four legged members of my family, your personal care and support,i can't tell you how much it means to me.sincerly Carrie Blackman.
