Friendly staff yes. And I appreciated. My cat was in pain. I not a vet but i feel he needed pain management medication. More info in procedures, and payment for procedures.

I brought my dog in for a lump on her breast and paid for an exam ahead of time. During the appointment, the vet didn’t even take her temperature, even though I mentioned I was concerned about a possible mastitis infection. Instead of offering to test the fluid that was coming from the nipple (like a cytology), they immediately pushed for surgery to remove the lump without suggesting any diagnostic tests first. While they were checking her, I mentioned that my dog also has chronic allergies and showed them what I use to treat her ears. They decided to swab her ear without explaining why, and I only found out after that it cost an extra $25 — even though I hadn’t asked for that test. I’ve never had a vet do something like that without asking first, especially when I clearly said I was on a limited budget and this lump issue was my main concern. After the appointment, I called my previous vet and another clinic to get price comparisons and advice about testing the fluid first. Shortly after, this clinic called me back and basically told me to “just move forward with someone else” because I had reached out to other clinics — then hung up on me. I left feeling really disappointed. I was trying to make an informed decision for my dog and my finances, and instead I felt pressured, dismissed, and charged for things I didn’t agree to.
